Sizing Charts

When I was crocheting for family and friends, I never really paid much attention to sizing or even gauge.  Now that I've been selling a few pieces, I've found that size matters.  Here are a few charts that I use to help me figure things out:


Shoe Size Chart

 


Hat Size

Newborn – 0 to 3 month (33-36 cm)

Head Circumference 13" - 14 "

Baby - 3 to 6 months

Head Circumference 14” - 16” (36-41 cm)

Baby 6 to 12 months

Head Circumference 16” - 18 ” (41-46 cm)

Toddler - preschooler (12 months - 3 years)

Head Circumference 18” - 20 ” (46-51 cm)

Child (3 - 5 years)

Head Circumference: 20" - 20 1/2" (51-52 cm)

Child (5-10 years)

Head Circumference: 20 1/2" - 21 1/2" (52-55 cm)

Preteens and Teens (S)

Head Circumference: 21 1/2" - 22" (55-56 cm)

Adult  (M)

Head Circumference: 22" - 23" (56-59 cm)

Adult (L)

Head Circumference: 23.5" - 25" (60-64 cm)

 

 

 

Baby Pants Size Chart

 

6-12 months:

• waist: 16-18" (41-46 cm)

• Waist to ankle length - 15" (38cm)

• Crotch to ankle length - 9" (23 cm)

12-18 months

• waist: 18” - 19 ” (46-48.5 cm)

• Waist to ankle length - 16" (41 cm)

• Crotch to ankle length - 10" (25.5 cm)

18-24 months

• waist: 19"-20" (48.5 - 51 cm )

• Waist to ankle length - 17" (43 cm)

• Crotch to ankle length - 11" (28 cm)
